I'll start it off again this week, early. I'm going to make a few posts regarding sentiment and other such things as I feel we are getting close. It's either already done, or it has to have that final, insane, suck every last one in blow off move. I'd hate to think that move carries all the way to 2000, but it may.

Many are watching the 1750-75 area and areas near that, so I think the odds of that being it are very slim (you never know, though, especially if they say that area will only check it back a little, or not at all, and then they post higher levels, which is what I suspect they will do...).

I wish it could be here, but I just don't see it. Also keep in kind, the debt ceiling is coming up again this fall, so maybe that's the phony catalyst. I just don't know. Anyway, some sentiment to ponder coming up.

If it can overcome this area here at 70.50 I'm watching 71.50-72.25 close, and then 75.50-76.00 (with an eye on 73.50). This is a lot of close levels, but it can't be avoided, and the range is small, and I'm talking very short-term levels.

Notice how that 72.50 stopped it dead and drew the checkback. Not a random area, I suspect.

Time for the next leg if this is still moving up.

Time for me to be cautious in here, it's not acting right.

69.75 the low end of 'okay', otherwise it's done in my book.

Edit: corrected a typo above '60.75' ==> '69.75'. Should have been obvious anyway.

I'm tiring of trying to watch this and post. Anyway, it bounced off 70.00, right to a key, obvious upper // (for KTer's, that is), and started to roll. That's wasn't a good sign for a continued bullish move off that pullback. It rolled down into an ABCD, so now we see. It does look weak. But, likely, it will just chop around near the low end, waiting on Bern-Psycho to give his testimony the next two days.

Hmmm, I do love this, and there is a term specific to this kind of price action. It's one of my favorite terms in the whole world:

'Pervasive weakness'

And it goes right to the GZ and stops dead. These guys never seem to change. Let me guess, it bounces here as it chops around the low end of the range...
