Okay, watch closely in here, this is a really, really important decision right here.

Seems like the Syria strike may be coming off the table. Now that it is clear no one can say who gassed those people for sure, and Russia and China are putting huge pressure on not to attack, and the UN won't be able to come up with a resolution that leads to an attack (Russia and China would veto anything like that regardless), and CON-gress won't touch it with a ten foot pole, it all comes down to a line from Peter Gabriel's song Biko:

"And the eyes of the world are watching now..., watching you now..."

The POTUS can't do squat in a situation like this. Anyway, the point is, crude is falling under pressure, and I think the above is why. And, since war is 'good' for stocks (that's pretty freakin' sick, huh?), less chance of imminent war may also put the market under pressure, who knows.

But, the POTUS is slipperier than a greased eel, so you still never know what he may come up with to get this much needed war started. Then after a few years of escalating ME conflict we can finally engage Russia or China, or both, and then WWIII will get all the attention off the final collapse of the system. Same old game since the beginning of time...

you mean if they can't trick us into war again, peace might break out?

Maybe this is very close (I think it might be), and maybe it's not even in the ballpark. One thing I do think is if this isn't how it unfolds, it will be some other scenario equally vile. Sorry. I can't believe my 'golden years' as I near 'retirement' are going to be spent like this...
