Although it is still struggling right now with this same area on the 'retest', as far as my framework, here's my assessment:

Down off one of the areas: check
Dropped down for better prices in the AM: check
Up some more: check

All I can say is: Yep

ES totally 'there' for the first area. It could push it up a little more, but this is the first real 'test' spot. Given it's Sunday night, with Monday coming and then 'Super-Tuesday', I suspect it will use one of these areas to drop it for better prices in the AM, and then up some more. That's my framework, same as always lately.

Now that was curious. The only news headline at that exact moment was Kerry saying Syria used chemical weapons, but that has been known/suspected for days. So, I guess I'm missing something here...

And BTW, the volume is huge, relatively.

Even though this is now at an area, it does have the look like they want no part of it and it will be doing a monster sell continuation. They don't like this war/Syria talk.

Possible re-test of highs. Surprised ret not bigger, only .447 if it is done, that says something.

So, this is now technically set up for aggressive new lows. Will they let it? I can't imagine that. Can it turn and head right back up? I can't imagine that either. Ah, for the old days when things made more sense and traded a little closer to 'fundamentals'. For very short-term who cares, but for intermediate-term it matters tremendously, in my opinion. And just when I was saying the intermediate-term interpretation is murky they start acting like this... Blech.

Well, other than something around say 41-44, I have nothing until the big TL around 20 (the one Eric pointed out with his layout), and then 1580ish. If the 'bulls' are to have any chance they have to respect this key area here at the KZ. And the way it is looking, it is either weak as all get out, or they are making it look that way on purpose. I guess all those war planes arriving in Cyprus aren't making the market happy.

The market should love it, another few trillion or more of our savings, tax dollars, and future generations earnings vaporized in a short time should be good for the market in many different ways. Then all the trickle down multiplier costs of those trillions, well, how can that do anything but put many thousands on the Dow?

So, the dip here should be temporary, and a massive conflict, maybe one that brings China and Russia in against us, well, that should help us reach our 2,000 area on the ES by Jan. Long live the King! And long live Armstrong's 32,000 Dow call within two years!

Maybe this is very close (I think it might be), and maybe it's not even in the ballpark. One thing I do think is if this isn't how it unfolds, it will be some other scenario equally vile. Sorry. I can't believe my 'golden years' as I near 'retirement' are going to be spent like this...
