I'll kick it off this week. Here's a good article. We'll look back and laugh some day at all this. In case some of you don't get the reference (I don't want to make anyone feel bad, but if you are a trader and don't know this reference, you should be ashamed of yourself (as my mom used to say when I was a kid)), I posted a second link. Read the start of the third paragraph.

This is a very key area here, though, that old price flow 'backtest' area. Watch it closely.

Back up already. You know, they swept it down, then they just swept it up, and are leaning on it. It is very possible they plan to toast this and finally really sweep it down on the higher timeframe. That I'd like to see.

Okay, back to bed. This is interesting enough I'll try to post every time I wake up (well, I mean one or two more times), even though I know with Marcin away I'm likely posting to empty space. But still, those that like to study my comments with the timestamps can do so later.

this sure is ugly, but that doesn't mean they can't come in and rescue it at the double .886 area at lines

Here are some of my posts from last night. Readers can look at all of them, my viewpoints as this unfolded, and the timestamps. They swept it up one more time, really shaking everyone out before it did the unthinkable, the big sweep down on the higher timeframe. I recall someone (now who was that?) who kept saying over and over something about 83 area. Anyway, whoever that was, the LOD today was... 83.25. Although I was all for playing those strong bounce pops on the very short-term, my gut was screaming at me this was going to weaken, and I posted such repeatedly. It was about clues.

Yes, they kept popping it up, but it kept weakening right where it should have sustained. Game over. And I finally got my 83. And now we'll see what it truly has in mind. I hope that is a lot lower. But, given Armstrong's view on how sovereigns worldwide are buying the market hand over fist, and will take all their bond money out and pile into stocks when the defaults/panic starts, there is a good case for much, much (much) higher numbers, even Dow 100,000. Remember, fundamentals and realistic pricing aren't a part of this picture whatsoever, only money flows. And the sovereigns don't appear to care how much they pay for a stock, even like $10,000 a share for say PCLN. If so, there is no telling how high this could go.

My gut is seldom 'wrong', in my experience. Not like this is a big drop or anything (yet?), but it is more than enough to be able to have some pretty good positioning by now.

But my gut said it's a short...

Hmmm, was that the fake/trap up, now we actually get some down? Boy, would that be cool.

Anyway, it appears to be clear as this runs up to the European open that the low is in, and I would expect new all-time highs to be forthcoming. But, I will still watch how it acts at the open for clues that it will not sustain. We'll see. My gut still says this is going to weaken...

But to stay that way I need sustain on this early European session, and no weakness. Weakness changes my opinion from 'big move coming' to 'that was a nice, little trap there'.

This is a very key area here, though, that old price flow 'backtest' area. Watch it closely.

AAPL had quite a day today. Apple payments and watch, first swoosh, then boom, as they love it, then swooooooooooooooooooosh as they decide they don't love it, or that something else bothers them, or whatever. And where did they close it? 37 cents from yesterday's close, after a near $7 swing range. Cool.

Okay, I know there is no one here, but I wanted to point out 'it's time' for this to come out of its range. By that I don't mean this very second, I mean it's done what it needs to do, and the timing factor is there. With the European open coming up shortly, it is ready to go. Check this timestamp, you'll see. Now, how they do it, well, that's another story. Lately it's all about sweep games. So, watch for those, too. But get ready, it's 'showtime'.

The fascinating thins is, they swept it down, then up, then hit it down, the same exact pattern they have been doing, where the first move is the direction, then the trap the other way, to get both sides, then the real move. I had the timing, and I had the pattern. I didn't have the 'context', in that, like rat, I was thinking up was more likely. But, there is redemption in here, in that as soon as I saw the sweep on the other side fade I was able to recognize the game, as I've highlighted so many times in here lately, and realize what was likely unfolding.
