I'll kick it off this week. Here's a good article. We'll look back and laugh some day at all this. In case some of you don't get the reference (I don't want to make anyone feel bad, but if you are a trader and don't know this reference, you should be ashamed of yourself (as my mom used to say when I was a kid)), I posted a second link. Read the start of the third paragraph.

Look at that, just over two hours since the last post. Funny, my rhythm...

Great stuff, rat. You nailed the area for the bounce on UPRO, and made some good comments on the higher 'context' at this key 83 area.

As far as that exit from the range last night, it finally did come out after my last post, but it sure pushed the envelope of that timing factor. It then swept up, swept down for a 'retest' of the key 83 area (understand, 83 is the center of the area, but actually a little closer to the upper end), and then gunned it up. Recall how many times we are seeing that lately. I look for it every time it sets up in case it happens, and lately it's about every time.

On another note, we have another new member in here. We have also had a handful of new members promise to come in, but so far I think only one has actually showed up. We also have a small handful 'on deck' that I hope show up soon. But, most check it out for a few days and leave. Over 45,000 posts spanning almost ten years, all that incredible information, and they check it out for a day or two and don't come back. Holy cow.
If the tables were turned, I'd likely read every single post, charts in hand, and look at everything. I guess that's why I have about 49,000 screen hours now. In my first five years I read appx. 500 books, that's two per week for five years straight, on top of all the regular trading and stuff. Then I started writing my own books. All this info, and they say 'No, thanks' and leave. It just baffles me. I mean, these are people who paid up for my entire book set, read them, usually multiple times, then of those only a small percentage come here, and of those, only a very small percentage stay for more than a cursory look. I sure wish I understood that one...

The ES should be close to making a move, which is curious because it's still a few hours before the European open. I guess they could stall it, but the timing factor has me thinking sooner rather than later. This will be an interesting one to observe.

Well, they managed to hold it off until the European open. Like last night, two timing factors delayed. Interesting. When I used this same technique during the RTH it hit dead on. Very interesting, indeed.

The fascinating thins is, they swept it down, then up, then hit it down, the same exact pattern they have been doing, where the first move is the direction, then the trap the other way, to get both sides, then the real move. I had the timing, and I had the pattern. I didn't have the 'context', in that, like rat, I was thinking up was more likely. But, there is redemption in here, in that as soon as I saw the sweep on the other side fade I was able to recognize the game, as I've highlighted so many times in here lately, and realize what was likely unfolding.
