I'll kick it off this week. Here's a good article. We'll look back and laugh some day at all this. In case some of you don't get the reference (I don't want to make anyone feel bad, but if you are a trader and don't know this reference, you should be ashamed of yourself (as my mom used to say when I was a kid)), I posted a second link. Read the start of the third paragraph.

Anyway, I believe the ES is now finally ready to set another new all-time high. We may not see it tomorrow, but I expect an aggressive attempt, leaving the rest for the Sunday night/Monday session. We'll see.

I agree. So many things came into play on the indexes yesterday at the low and today at the retest. My eye is on 2045 area for $spx

The ES should now come out if its range, but the last two times at this time of night they delayed it beyond my time factor by a bit, based on the open and beyond. So, let's see here. Timing-wise, it's ready now.

Quite interesting, huh? I mean how I usually seem to be able to tell when it's ready to come out of a range?

And while we are on resistance is futile concept, here's one for those who are bored and want to read up on the fall of AmeriKa. I am so scared of my country now I worry that they will see this link here and know I posted it, and come and 'get' me. For posting a link to a non-violent blog entry! And I truly don't think I'm paranoid...

I'm almost out of gas for watching the overnight session here, so maybe this will be my last post. I'm just trying to watch until good positioning and trailing stops could be put into place, that's the goal. Anyway, they swept 'em down, now it's time to watch to see if they flip it the other way, or if there will be some sustain.

The fascinating thins is, they swept it down, then up, then hit it down, the same exact pattern they have been doing, where the first move is the direction, then the trap the other way, to get both sides, then the real move. I had the timing, and I had the pattern. I didn't have the 'context', in that, like rat, I was thinking up was more likely. But, there is redemption in here, in that as soon as I saw the sweep on the other side fade I was able to recognize the game, as I've highlighted so many times in here lately, and realize what was likely unfolding.
