craft- i have been posting my best work here. i guess this is my cave! i am sure you noticed that all three charts showed what is now my highest probability setup.draw a simple line connecting 3 pivots that ends in fib box. anchor medianline set on that line. price will go to medianline 90% of time....

'' i rarely take a trade that does not start with a simple line''' '''the four pillars of geometry are the simple line, frequency given by medianlines and sqrt functions given by fib''
translation I AM USING THE SIMPLE LINE AS A SORTING TOOL TO IDENTIFY QUALITATIVELY DIFFERENT MEDIANLINE SETS AND FIB. here is another of my favorites... i call it the arrow setup.i trade the standard set with confidence because it is qualitatively different. i do not need to trade every medianline setup... i am looking for the presorted best setups.chart to follow.

i am a reader of fishing guides to rivers. coming upon the author in my favorite spot which was not in the book he responded''you dont think i'm going to write about the best do you?''thus it is with fib . we here know the qualitative difference between jim's and the better known fib writers. EITHER THEY SIMPLY DONT KNOW OR THEY ARE KEEPING THE BEST FOR THEMSELVES..i find it hard to believe that the originators of medianlines with their emphasis on MULTIPIVOT LINESwere not keenly aware of the implications of what i am showing...i differ radically from jim. the entry is everything for me.. the simple line is my filter ... once in i just look at my rules...and note the power of the simple line to negate expected moves in standard sets..!

craft- my apologies for going on and on. you are the hardest worker i know at trying to fit theory and practice together.. and you and i were contemplating engaging in the discussion at mg. i have moved beyond the way medianline theory is publicly taught to where i believe all the skilled traders are but have no interest at all in sharing with the public.. i consider the detailed work i have shown here a private showing for a very private audience.i could not in good conscience engage in a public discussion unless i was willing to show the simple line as a sorting tool . i would be like those fib writers or the fishing writer.

What about a simple line that "cuts" through price as opposed to using consecutive highs or lows like the other two on the above chart. Do you see a qualitative difference between the two?

i use those all the time in my arrow technique.paid writers such as cooper use them extensively.. wolfe wave traders use them...but in and by themselves i get no consistent edge... so no qualitatve difference over thousands of examples.

i.e... i get so many tradeable examples of the simple pivot line that jump off my charts that that is my focus... back to the gold chart. i drew in standard set.. i saw small kane abcd do the test and retest i saw price turn at the confluence of bands with divergence with cci's in brown.. but what started the whole trading process, what prompted me to draw the set, what gave me the relaxed confidence from the outset was line into key fib. i simply know from endless trades that this process has the best edge for success. i do not think i am showing anything that is not already known to good traders or those who have backtested with high powered computers..heck as my friend joed used to rail at the old medianline forum'' most traders would be best served by drawing a line on their chart and trading against it..''and since tim brought in euclid.. the very first thing he defines is a point, then a line then a straightline as that which connects points... if it is all just geometry.. let's start at the beginning.. he really doesnt get into measured moves and proprtional relations for hundreds of pages.
