Is the move up that began on Friday a final acceleration to the 1330 area mentioned here couple of times? Or is it a start of something even bigger to the upside to finally convince everybody that this thing is never ever going to drop again? We'll have to wait to know the answer to this question. My personal opinion is closer to the second alternative, but of course I might be wrong. Some people say that the drop from May 2008 to the final 2009 bottom was an extended 5th wave. Such waves are usually fully retraced, and in such case the upper ML of the recent set needs to be met:

It's so well corrected, that in fact it could accelerate to the upside now

Great charts showing my thinking, jarek. I appreciate you doing my chart posts for me.
As I keep saying, 'too easy'. Another up Monday, another new 'bulls#%&' market high (look at $MID, it's just smokin'), another day of watching the market use the areas I am finding. No claims, just one man's opinion. Notice how labored it all is, too...

ES volume 40% below average today, and average isn't too spectacular since the machines took over.

FDX just announced, and lowered their earnings forecast going forward. As have many others, like CSCO. They are trading down in the after-market (for how long???), and that was why the ES just dropped a bit. But, every pundit and analyst has been saying S&P earnings are about to explode higher (in the face of all the price increases they are facing, and must pass on to a totally strapped consumer). So how can all these prime, key companies possibly be reporting bad news, and how can the S&P keep going up on that bad news? Because it is ordained, and so it shall be... I just saw one analyst on TV saying this is totally fundamentally driven, and the S&P is grossly undervalued in here. Too funny...

note how at every turn in gann(greenlines)price ''peaks a round the corner''... i had 3 targets.. the overlapping of .618 and gann seemed like a tempting allure for one of those massive down days that blow in....seemed like some sort of fith wave diagonal at today's high... every gann trader in the world had to day as a key count day....and today's anemic volume suggested that the buyers might stop buying...who knows , tomorrow i may have my head handed to me....

rat 89 will remember this one....it is a rare day when i will short into oversold.... but the pattern repeats over and over.....rapids and waterfall... the key is the flattening right before price goes..under the cover of opex, the computers were using the patterns to get price to the correct strike.... something else.... i feel a wave four triangle of some degree just ahead... the down in many stocks can be seen as the ab leg of abcd's that i think the c will setup just as the triangle leg is set to go....
