Okay, let's crank up another great week in here. The market action should be awesome again, I suspect.

I just re-realized something right now while, bored out of my mind here today, I followed a link for a trading video over to youtube, and then saw some names I knew, and watched those, and on and on. There are twenty-seven-zillion trading videos on youtube alone. Everyone is an expert. Everyone has their own company that offer trading 'training'. Everyone is a vendor (oh, and a trader).
This is kind of what it reminds me of. You've got the gold rush. Almost no one, percentage-wise, is actually finding anything, or should I say near enough to justify the hours they spend. If you account for the hours they spend, they are not actually profitable. But, for every person there looking for gold, there are one-hundred, two-hundred, maybe a thousand people selling picks, shovels, books, and seminars about how to properly find the gold and be wildly profitable, just like they are.
See, they made tens of zillions of dollars finding their own gold, and they made all that because they have tricks, secrets, special knowledge they have developed, and that has allowed them to make so much, to find so much gold. Now, because they want to 'give back', they will teach you, for a very low, nominal fee. Maybe $99.99, or $299.99. And for every gold seeker, there are like a thousand people offering such services. Like piranhas around a carcass dropped into an Amazon river. And they all do this because they are very altruistic. They made so much money trading they themselves can't even believe it, and they want to pass on their good fortune to you. It's the right thing to do.
Anyway, that's all old news in here. It just makes me sick. But, on the other hand, without all those suckers, where would the money come from for those that actually can trade? In a sense, I don't know, this whole thing is kinda crazy. I sure look forward to the day when I pull my website down, stop selling the books, and divorce myself from all that. It's such a paradox, in that without all that I'd not been able to meet the people I have, and pass on what I have, but to do it, I had to join the parade of scammers and charlatans, and be thought of by most as part of that crowd. Yuck. What a price to pay...

56.50... Time to ramp the caution up...

I am also watching around that .886 at say 63.50-64.00, but if it gets that high I think the battle would be on for a new high. There is a sweet line there, but I'm not sure what they'll do that high up.

58.25!!! Posted yesterday. Now we see. This is the H&S area. I don't see anything but up, but you never know. And that next level slightly above, it's compelling. It's dropped a bit, since the downsloping line has moved down a little as time has passed. But it's just above, waiting. Then we'll see. But for now, 'management mode' says hang on, when you have a tiger by the tail you go for the ride.

Here's my point. I posted two overhead areas yesterday. Cash closes right at the first area. Is that a coincidence? Of all the places on the entire chart, how come cash closes right at one of the two areas I posted yesterday? Point is, there were technical reasons why I saw that area, and the market agreed with that. Or, maybe, it was all just a coincidence...

59.25. First area hit and pushed to the max. Any more and the next area will be on the table. Then the battle will be on for new highs. Lots of stuff, layout-wise, for this to roll over. But, that only says if it was planning to roll over, this area would be a 'good' spot for it. It doesn't say it will roll over. And what makes this all the more fascinating is that it is very strong and barely corrected into the area. If it plans for more up here it has to do it 'uncorrected'. That would take some serious buying.
So, either this is about to enter frenzy mode (it looks it, and that 'scares' me), or they will bring it down in the overnight for better prices, and that will give them the 'base' to gun it up from. I'm not saying it couldn't do anything else, it could do anything, but that those are the two ways I see it most likely handling this current area.

I was going to ask you, roofer, if you caught that gold move, and I decided to look back again at your posts, and I see you caught it via the GDX, and the oil move, too. Nice. Wait a minute, I just realized, what's the point of this post? Hmmm, I guess there is none? At least it will up my post count by one.
