Silver just 'took out' that key area and is four cents away from trading an 18 handle. I am really hoping for a big drop in the PM's to create a truly great buying opportunity for long-term holding. Gold has also set a new low for the move. I've read the reports on the sentiment and COT and such for silver and gold, and it seems 'impossible' they could drop right now, so if they do, that will be quite a mystery, but my read for asset selling would be across the board, not just stocks. We'll see.

I have an incredible area in silver just a fraction under 15. That's what I'd like to see. I have a smaller area in the mid-17's. This is exciting stuff. Now let's see if this is just a snap fake below the key area and then up it goes, like 'they' say it will, or if it wants one of those lower areas. Imagine if you bought 50 for holding, and have lost almost 2/3 by now. Ouch.

The context for longer-term trade in CAD is unfavourable due to heavy resistance around 1.0650. So for me the set-up above should be either aggressively managed or, more preferably, used as framework for trading lower time frames like m5. Just my comment.

TLT update from previous... after taking half off on thursday morning as shown, the close on thursday left me with the same quandry we often get using the tools of this forum... price had thrust down, then done an abcd to line.. classic sell signal.. but given that our longer term charts suggest a larger low in bonds, the bullish scenario would have price completing abcd with equal legs with abcd as middle leg... so i marked an equal leg and placed stop twenty cents below... so far so good .. but time will tell...
