I'm getting tired of this pattern since Monday of run it up in the overnight with a smooth trend, then chop it around with an upward bias in our session. Really tired of it.

Okay, I'll play along. Ooh, it's dropping now. My short dreams will work out. This is so cool. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Wrong. It will just snap back up again. What the h#%& do you think the definition of range chop is? Duh.

I have a monster spot in AUY at 7.00-7.20. If gold does make the drop I am hoping for, this may be where AUY ends up. But, probably that move below 1200 is it for gold, and AUY bottoms here. And silver never hits my lower areas. And the bull market in stocks never ends, like all the pundits are saying. "This time it's different. It's a new paradigm, with the FED and all, and all the improvement in the economy, housing rising again, and Japan back on track, and..."

TLT update from previous... after taking half off on thursday morning as shown, the close on thursday left me with the same quandry we often get using the tools of this forum... price had thrust down, then done an abcd to line.. classic sell signal.. but given that our longer term charts suggest a larger low in bonds, the bullish scenario would have price completing abcd with equal legs with abcd as middle leg... so i marked an equal leg and placed stop twenty cents below... so far so good .. but time will tell...
