Armstrong is on about the same page as I am. Not that that means much. Some people respect him tremendously, though.

My ideal scenario for gold is a drop to just under 900, with a bounce in the 1100's on the way. The bounce may be nearly 300, but the best bounce, technically, for me, would be to 1300. That can happen with a drop to the 1000 area, then up 300 to 1300, then down to just under 900 to finish. Or, it could drop to the low 1100's, then up to 1300, then down to just under 900. Anyway, these are my ideal scenarios.

Reality may be totally different. Maybe the call just about every last person I have heard or read has made, 1200-1250 area, will be it, and the next monster leg of the gold bull will reassert itself, heading us to $5,000. Who knows. But I'd like to see $900, where I'd be thinking that's a serious spot for long-term holding.

BTW, the .618 of the entire bull, by my data, is at 891, in a monster cluster of Fib work, a lot of it proprietary stuff.

'Games without frontiers'.
My favorite song from this album, along with 'Biko'.

Marcin!!! Jeux sans frontieres! A fan of my favorite PG album. Wow, that's awesome. I love Biko and Games Without Frontiers, but the entire album is just fantastic, too. That guy has some serious talent, and his music hits home with me. These lines from Biko always remind me of the current situation with how they've destroyed the world:

When I try to sleep at night
I can only dream in red
The outside world is black and white
With only one colour dead

You can blow out a candle
But you can't blow out a fire
Once the flames begin to catch
The wind will blow it higher

And the eyes of the world are
Watching now
Watching now

But, I see patterns and parallels everywhere... I guess the point is psychopathic behavior, whether directed at an individual or at all of us, is same, regardless...

I discovered this album after recent reedition of 'So'.
And although I prefer this one, I consider the third album, or 'Melt' as they call it, also as a masterpiece.

Whenever I miss an obvious area, hesitate for too long or lack discipline I can hear Iron Maiden in my head:

You've got to watch them - Be quick or be dead,
Snake eyes in heaven, the beast in your head!
You've got to watch them - Be quick or be dead,
Snake eyes in heaven, the thief in your head...!
Be quick!
Or be dead!
Be quick!
Or be dead!

So, with tomorrow being the last day of the quarter, I suspect there will be some window dressing. I'm expecting a strong up day. I am hoping for a strong down day. But, today had many opportunities for this to sell off, and the bulls dominated every one of them. Same old, same old. I want to be bearish, but I just haven't seen anything set up and then following through. Everything is a false start...

if my read is right, the set up is in place within a couple of dollars for this sleeping dog to bark...unless it collapses of course.....right to the .486 today of the whole move up, within $2 of the .886 off the april low....wouldn't it be a shocker to see this move up 150 points?

TLT update from previous... after taking half off on thursday morning as shown, the close on thursday left me with the same quandry we often get using the tools of this forum... price had thrust down, then done an abcd to line.. classic sell signal.. but given that our longer term charts suggest a larger low in bonds, the bullish scenario would have price completing abcd with equal legs with abcd as middle leg... so i marked an equal leg and placed stop twenty cents below... so far so good .. but time will tell...
