Now there's a volume spike big pop. 82.25. Where have I heard that number before?

The interesting thing to me is, I think this is in anticipation of a deal, which the big boys must know is at hand. So, if we get Jeremy Seigel's instant Dow 1,000 points (or did he say 2,000?), we may have another say 600 coming by tomorrow? That would put the ES at new all-time highs, up say 100 in less than two days. Sounds about right.

Warsaw Stock Exchange Index made a six years high today. All in a country where almost five percent of total population emigrated to work abroad, many of those who managed to keep their jobs are now working for lower salaries. Some are working for free - this is the practice for example of the largest international logistics companies which hire people for a 'trial' month or two without any salary. I can't imagine they do it in US.
But the prospects of the economy are so great... only according to rating agencies and the government.

Interesting article, but I'm mostly posting it as a reference for this one quote.
"Iceland went through a similar deflationary event to that risked in the US today when its banking system collapsed and the currency halved overnight."
Now, wait, during a deflation their currency got cut in half? No, hold up, wait, all I've ever heard is that during a deflation cash is king, it's super rare, and its buying power increases. Yeah, uh-huh, that's what really happens in the real world. My money gets me more stuff. Uh-huh. Deflation and less buying power. Makes sense.
