IB data shows 83.50, eSignal 83.25. It's done going down, I think.

What do you think of that new theory? Amazing, huh? Based on IB data, I knew it would never trade 83.25. No way, no how. Even with eSignal at 83.25, point is, it wouldn't really trade there. It was a level they couldn't do. And they didn't. Amazing, amazing stuff.

A great quote from over at Slope of Hope, in the comments section.

"Let's leave it at this: Gold is the money of kings. Silver is the money of gentlemen. Barter is the money of peasants and debt is the money of SLAVES. Always been true. Is true now and shall always be true. Truth is not situational nor is it periodic. it is eternal."

Interesting article, but I'm mostly posting it as a reference for this one quote.

"Iceland went through a similar deflationary event to that risked in the US today when its banking system collapsed and the currency halved overnight."

Now, wait, during a deflation their currency got cut in half? No, hold up, wait, all I've ever heard is that during a deflation cash is king, it's super rare, and its buying power increases. Yeah, uh-huh, that's what really happens in the real world. My money gets me more stuff. Uh-huh. Deflation and less buying power. Makes sense.
