Some areas for ES. If a fifteen point drop anticipated by ZH is going to happen, it will fall into a nice grouping.

New all-time high. The ES has never traded at this level in the entirety of human history.

It's so funny to watch the S&P struggle so much to barely get the new all-time high, when the Russell and MidCaps are just smokin' another new all-time high with ease, leaving the old one in the dust.

So, time to refine the 1740-1760 area, and then the 1840-1860 area. That 2000 area is now not off the table at all by Jan. I am revising my outlook to a possible small pullback from 2000 in Jan, no bear market, and a continuation up to 3400 in two years, in line with Armstrong. Then a 'bear', then way more intervention, then a failed 'retest', then full collapse, martial law, and anarchy. It's all going to take time. And no, this is not sarcastic, this is now my highest probability scenario. Not essential for intraday trading, but not immaterial, either.

Wow, I am doing some daily/weekly work in here and those three levels, 1740-60, 1840-60, and 2000, just keep jumping out no matter what techniques I use. My usual techniques, my advanced stuff for a handful of mentor students, my newest proprietary stuff only I know, it all keeps giving the same three levels. Very, very interesting.

And a pop right into the 1:15 PM close, to close it on the high tick of the day. I wonder which way it will open.

This is all getting so scary, so dictatorship, so totalitarian. No joke, it really is (he types as the NSA watches the words as they are typed. I wonder when they'll come for me for simply being aware and telling a few others about some blog posts? Probably right after they come for all the bloggers I read...).

Every day I keep getting sicker and sicker to my stomach. This all makes sense, as is made clear with their last line. So, they got involved with housing, paying cash, and running prices back up. That may sound 'good' to homeowners, but it's bad all around. People can no longer afford housing. Prices are 'most fair' at much, much lower levels. If people hadn't been using their houses as ATM's, they would see this. So, these pigs move into buying up trailer parks now, and running the prices up on all that. Time now to make more 'profits' by squeezing the weakest of the weak, the poor elderly. Like I said, this is a ruthless liquidation and dominance takeover of all of us. I guess it doesn't matter how much I yell to my five people in here, it's all going to happen. Because the blogs with millions of readers are screaming it every day, and it just keeps getting worse and worse and worse. And now O'Bummer is telling us to stop reading the blogs. Too funny. Okay, propaganda minister, I'll believe whatever you say.
Let me relate a little parable. When I was in 8th grade I went to a Catholic school (by force). I was basically an atheist, or at the least someone who thought Catholicism was irrational and insane. If there are any Catholics reading this, sorry, but I call 'em as I see 'em. So, we had to write a paper, and we had some freedom on the topic. I basically wrote a paper on the ridiculousness of Catholicism and the whole Catholic school model. Now, let me digress for a second. The other day my better half and I were watching a TV show and I saw the stupidest thing someone had done. I said to her "Here's something to never do. If you are ever in a home invasion or robbery with people in ski masks and you recognize one of them, don't say 'Hey, I know you.' " Point is, if you are in a Catholic school, don't jump up and say 'Hey, this system is total BS and it sucks'.
So, here's the the rest of the story. Nothing happened with that paper. I thought I was fine. Then, when it came time for my 'confirmation' (something I wanted to do because I knew there was a big family party for me after and lots of cards with lots of money in them) they called me in the office. Out came the paper. No confirmation for me. In fact, no graduation, either, because they don't graduate non-Catholics. Uh-oh. That took some really fancy dancing to get out of. I'll never forget that they 'stored' this paper, not saying anything, until they were ready to 'get' me. Then out it came, and I was toast.
See where I'm going? I just said "And now O'Bummer is telling us to stop reading the blogs. Too funny. Okay, propaganda minister, I'll believe whatever you say." This, and every disparaging comment I've ever made is being stored, and I can see the day when I sit before 'them', and they pull all this up, and they tell me I'm against the government. And what will be the penalty if I can't convince them otherwise? Guantanamo? Execution (which the president says he can do anytime, to anyone, no questions asked, no trial needed)?
And what if I say 'then I better just shut up, never speak or post my mind again'? Then I'm living in a dictatorship with no freedom of speech. I totally fear my government. Outright terror. All my neighbors do. They all say 'just keep your mouth shut and your head down, and hope they don't come for you'. Is this Nazi Germany? Holy cow. Our country is gone. RIP. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. I heard a saying the other day, and it totally captures my sentiment. 'I love my country and hate my government.' And some day I am sure 'they' will come for me, with only the second half of that saying, and that will be that. And nothing can stop this unfolding dictatorship at this point...

Chris Hedges writing about the USA:
We now live in a nation where doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the press destroys information, religion destroys morals, and our banks destroy the economy.
Yep...

So, they keep saying there is no inflation, and we need more inflation. Let's see. I got my prescription the other day. It was up. 265% My better half just called me from the grocery, my almonds are up from last time. 20%. I looked at my tax software for this year. It was up. 33.33%. Recall that link I posted for health plans and all those triple digit increases. Nope, all that doesn't sound like any inflation to me. I agree, we need lots more.
BTW, let's quickly talk about the CPI. Now, for me, my medical insurance is almost 40% of my total expenditures. So, for me, I'd like the CPI weighted so medical insurance is figured at about that level, say 40%. Look at what others pay. And to do it right, you can't look at all those who pay little getting it from work, and figure that percentage. If your employer is paying for it, it's the same as if you are. In theory, the employer could just pay you more and not include the insurance. It's the same with FICA. I'm self-employed, so I pay 15.3%. Workers pay 7.15%, but their employer pays the other 7.15%. If they didn't, they could pay you 7.15% more. So, you pay it all, regardless. I think 99.99%, literally, of people are simply unable to comprehend that fact no matter how many times it is explained to them. It's just a limitation of the human mind (and poor education), and it a big part of why we are in the mess we are in.
Anyway, I think the CPI should weight medical insurance between 20% and 40%, but more towards the latter. And since this is one of the fastest increasing expenses, it is very important that it be weighed accurately, to insure accuracy in the CPI. The current weighting? 0.6%. Yes, 0.6%. Well, that's a nice way to keep those old inflation figures down. The Chinese recently did the same thing with housing data. They tweaked the weighting of houses, and the weighting of rural/city data, and so on. Presto, no inflation in China. EZ-PZ. Yep, there's no inflation.
