Some areas for ES. If a fifteen point drop anticipated by ZH is going to happen, it will fall into a nice grouping.

And since I'm in such a foul mood about 'the system', why not bring enlightenment if I can, and 'spoil' everyone else's good mood. I have known most of this all along, but thought I'd pass it on.

But I also have some info on the much revered and great American hero, 'Honest Abe ' Lincoln. I've never met anyone who doesn't think he's a hero. After all, he freed the slaves. A definite hero, too, to the people of African-American decent. He is considered either the greatest American president in history, or tied with Reagan and Washington. But read this, and tell me what a hero he really is.
"I will say, then, that I AM NOT NOR HAVE EVER BEEN in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the black and white races---that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with White people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the White and black races which will ever FORBID the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together, there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I, as much as any other man, am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the White race."
Huh? Let me repeat that. Huh? That's our greatest hero? Honest Abe said that? Yep. Put him on the pile with Columbus, and all the rest. And here we are today, with Jim just losing it over what is going on. Nothing has changed. Literally nothing. And nothing ever will. Like the really bad guy said in Cloud Atlas 'There is a natural order to things...' Yep, and this is it. And it sucks.

Don't worry, Jim.
I knew that he dreamed about US white as lily and introduced abolitionism to his program only for political reasons. But a political correctness terror calls it a conspiracy theory, although historical diaries and press articles simply prove it.

It's just madness. Debt money, fractional reserve lending, it's all just unreal. If we all paid all our debts off (a great thing I suggest, strongly, to everyone I know) our money supply would be zero! As we try to pay off debt we choke our system out. To expand our system, we must have more debt. Say what? Are you kidding me? Yep, that's our system.

So, the only real question I have is do we set the new all-time highs:
1) Before the European open
2) Before our regular open
or
3) By the end of the day tomorrow.

Here's what I know. Read this article.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-10-14/22-reasons-be-concerned-about-us-economy-we-head-holiday-season
Now, after that, I'll tell you what I know. Despite all that, the market is going to go up. Way up.Maybe even double. And all those stats, they'll all get worse. A lot worse. That's what I know.

So, they keep saying there is no inflation, and we need more inflation. Let's see. I got my prescription the other day. It was up. 265% My better half just called me from the grocery, my almonds are up from last time. 20%. I looked at my tax software for this year. It was up. 33.33%. Recall that link I posted for health plans and all those triple digit increases. Nope, all that doesn't sound like any inflation to me. I agree, we need lots more.
BTW, let's quickly talk about the CPI. Now, for me, my medical insurance is almost 40% of my total expenditures. So, for me, I'd like the CPI weighted so medical insurance is figured at about that level, say 40%. Look at what others pay. And to do it right, you can't look at all those who pay little getting it from work, and figure that percentage. If your employer is paying for it, it's the same as if you are. In theory, the employer could just pay you more and not include the insurance. It's the same with FICA. I'm self-employed, so I pay 15.3%. Workers pay 7.15%, but their employer pays the other 7.15%. If they didn't, they could pay you 7.15% more. So, you pay it all, regardless. I think 99.99%, literally, of people are simply unable to comprehend that fact no matter how many times it is explained to them. It's just a limitation of the human mind (and poor education), and it a big part of why we are in the mess we are in.
Anyway, I think the CPI should weight medical insurance between 20% and 40%, but more towards the latter. And since this is one of the fastest increasing expenses, it is very important that it be weighed accurately, to insure accuracy in the CPI. The current weighting? 0.6%. Yes, 0.6%. Well, that's a nice way to keep those old inflation figures down. The Chinese recently did the same thing with housing data. They tweaked the weighting of houses, and the weighting of rural/city data, and so on. Presto, no inflation in China. EZ-PZ. Yep, there's no inflation.
