On the way to 40s area, there is also substantial resistance around 2020.
It includes two sublevels: 22-24 and 13-14, below which ES finished Friday.

My view was to fade the bearish ABCD using the bullish ABCD that just set up. I'm just not seeing the downside right now.

That should make it clear my view was to close the previous long as it hit into the bearish ABCD area and reacted.

Nope, no problems here. Move along, nothing to see.

It did hit the area pretty much dead on, price and time, at 2007.50.

I am starting to think that you are insider, Jim. The first in history, intraday insider.

May be. I do know something, that's for sure. Scotty over at Harmonic Trader used to call me 'Merlin' back in the day (and my skills were primitive then, by comparison, I think), after Merlin the Magician in the King Aurthur legend. TonyC once said in reference to my live reads over at the HT chat room that he had never seen anyone on the right side of the market as much as me, and he's been in some chat rooms over the years. I really can't say what it is, but I can look at the layout, see the areas, and just sense what it will most likely do given that scenario. Combine that with an ability to sense when things aren't unfolding 'right' and with mad management skills so I feel I can get out of just about anything, and there you have it. Let's not forget always trying to get in at a good price, too, within the flow. Of course, all this is just my opinion. Maybe it's all in my imagination. I state it here not to brag but to explain how it is I think I can make reads like this, posted here in advance, day in and day out. What the pieces are, what makes this all come together for me.

The ES is blowing all the areas out to the upside. It's just several points from a new high for the entire move. It has the look like they may be planning to run it into the meeting, which makes sense. Who knows. All I can say is if I'm in a play long from before, I definitely want to be hanging on to some of it.
