On the way to 40s area, there is also substantial resistance around 2020.
It includes two sublevels: 22-24 and 13-14, below which ES finished Friday.

I'm sorry, I was not very clear on this. I was trying to type fast so I could be done when it opened. I would have to be positioned already, but that wasn't clear unless one used common sense and realized if I was expecting a jackrabbit start possibility I'd have to be positioned in advance, since many of those just explode. What I was trying to say is I wasn't completely sure long was the play, so I wanted to see what it did on the open to further assess if that was their intention. I think when I said 'just getting ready' it made it sound more like I was getting ready for a long play, when I meant the approach was getting ready for making a fast assessment on a position, especially if it exploded or dumped hard right out of the hole. It's not easy doing blow by blow live and trying to do your own thing at the same time. Just try it some time.

BTU is under pressure again today. It's having a rough time. Down from around 1108 to 2 (you read that right) by my data, ready to set a new low for the move again.

I'm pretty satisfied with that play to here, so for my style plenty of scaling would be under the belt, and tight on the rest. It is possible it shoots for the new highs for the move, and the SL, so some still on is in order, but I'm really expecting it to go to sleep until the announcement, so I'm not looking to play in chop too much if that unfolds.

So, if the Fed is dovish I could see this heading right for that 35-40 area today or into tomorrow. If they are very hawkish and reaffirm they are fully still on their path to 'normalization' I could see some selling, even a resumption of the bear and the move up in the dollar.

Is the ES making a move? Or just another sucker chop trap? I really don't care either way, I am just waiting right now.

Pushed it just about 1 tick over the first of the two remaining overhead TL's and then came in. Let's see if they try for the other.
