On the way to 40s area, there is also substantial resistance around 2020.
It includes two sublevels: 22-24 and 13-14, below which ES finished Friday.

When have we seen this kind of 1-min behavior on the ES? Only over and over last week...

Thanks.

Put a SL on from 4/13 and see how that makes it look.

Got that level too, as a minor area.

They can't seem to get enough lately of the very spectacular DB. It's at a super-key area here mid-20's up to maybe 21.40ish. There is also a key area in the 24's.

they are indeed. there is a poster on another forum who has spent years, on and off, trying to prove the uselessness of fibs. He will use one index and note how price didn't exactly hit fibs at all turns, when we know the computers rotate the signals through the indexes precisely to throw people like him off the trail. He will highlight turns at levels that he says prove fibs are useless, but calculating what the fib would be, and noting how it's not fib, when in fact it's a garden variety fib that we know well. Let them think what they want to think.....it keeps the game alive, in much the same way that the geometry sets up turns to occur around news events, so that everyone can accept the explanation that the "news" caused the turn, and not dig deeper.

So they are useful, unlike random walk theory supporters, who stay away from the markets.

So, I'm perusing over at Zero Hedge, and one guy mentions "...a 76% Fibonacci retracement." This gets the following reply from a guy: "Fibonacci is mumbo-jumbo." I guess I should be glad, it's people like these that make what we do possible... Instead, though, it mostly just p#%$es me off.

Downsloping 5-min TL now exceeded, so watch out. That might be all they want. If not, then it should shoot for the Friday swing-high next.

Trying to recreate a way of saying the word I got from Scott over at HT when we used to get together and talk market in 'the old days':

Ex-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaact-ly.
