I'll start the topic for this week with this:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-04-12/eight-wtf-divergences

I'm expecting some great action, and always on the lookout for the 'top' to be in place. Here, early summer in the 1600's, year end at 2000, who knows. But I suspect it will be one of them. Maybe not. I'll just be reading the clues and finding the setups. That's what I do best, I think...

ES still looking good, but gold broke down further, and now crude is dropping.

Gold is just making these amazing swings. Now approaching 30 up on this last smooth swing. Up and down, like crazy. I think, though, this is the one that bounces up like a hundred or whatever. We'll see.

ES looking good. I suspect I'll see you all at one of the two higher levels, more likely that low 70's.

55.00-.75

If we get 'the bounce' I'm looking low 70's. Otherwise a nice bounce would be 64-65. The .382 is at 59.50, so watch that as it rises (if it does indeed rise).

And yes, I am ready for the downtrend to reassert itself at any time without warning. Something big may be happening, and anything I do on the long side would be with extreme caution.

Gold almost 40 off the low. I can't imagine it being anything less than 100 off the low soon. Just a hunch.

Here's a fun little factoid that few know, and probably even those in here choose to just ignore. I guess the theory is, if you feel you can't do anything about it, just ignore it. By my calculations we have all lost between 56% and 67% of the buying power of our savings since the psycho Fed started their insane game.

You see, people see the market going up and they think that's great. I look at it this way. Let's say, as a rough approximation, stocks are about as valuable as they were at the bottom. Sure, by some accounts profits are up, but that has little to do with the companies, it has to do with the Fed giving them our money. But many stocks are up 1,000%, 2,000%, and more. The broader indices are up lets say double to triple.

To me, that means my dollar now buys me half or a third of what it bought me before, for the same value. That's inflation. And people think that's good? Stocks are up just about the same amount as the buying power of my dollar is down. So, best case scenario you had all your savings in the market, and you are now even, buying power-wise, from 5 years ago, as opposed to down like I am, sitting in cash. And for that you only have to endure 50% swings and the risk of a huge crash. Great deal.

Now, what brought this on? I just went online to shop for vitamins. I use a place that consistently has the best prices. I shop there every 4-6 months, and load up. Every time I go prices creep up a bit. This time, prices on every item I checked were up 20%-30% across the board. This is in 4-6 months (some things I bought 6 month ago, one I checked the price was from 4 months ago). I checked four competitors, and all their prices jumped, too. And this is for multiple brands, it's not that one brand just raised their prices big time.

This means the buying power of my dollar just was cut by 20%-30% in 4-6 months for these items. I am seeing this all over. The CPI is under 2%? That's not only just stupid propaganda, it has me so furious right now I am beyond sure it is damaging my health to get stressed like this. Next month I get my new rates for my medical insurance. They usually raise it 20%+ every single year.

I now pay more for medical insurance, for a really crappy policy in my opinion, than all my other expenses combined. Seriously. And people still think I'm nuts when I say super-high inflation is coming. Coming? It's here now, and no one seems to even see it!

We might as well have fun now, because like Apollo Creed said in Rocky III: 'There is no tomorrow...' Not for this planet.

ES now at the next little area. But, I suspect this is a ride all night with a trailing stop type of a play. Like I said, see ya all in the forum tomorrow in the low 70's. If that happens this thing will be up like 35-40 points off the low in less than one day!
