I'll start the topic for this week with this:

I'm expecting some great action, and always on the lookout for the 'top' to be in place. Here, early summer in the 1600's, year end at 2000, who knows. But I suspect it will be one of them. Maybe not. I'll just be reading the clues and finding the setups. That's what I do best, I think...

For gold, this is the best of the best spot here for the area, but if it overshoots this a bit, down to even around 1285 could be possible. The 'stab through' shake out routine. Understand, all my stuff is coming from the weekly, even monthly, chart, so pinpoint precision is not possible. Still, I am ready if they come in hard any second now...

This ES is acting done. Long shot? You'd have to have some big ones for that.

I would really like to see that 48-50. That would interest me. But, they may ruin that by bouncing it here.

The Aussie really got monkey hammered, and is now rebounding a bit. CL got hit pretty hard, and is starting to rebound. I'm watching those on the tick chart. 6A still looks okay there, but CL is weakening, and the ES stumbling. This is how I'm watching this.

The ES wants to go up. But, are the sellers done? We shall see. I want that 48-50 soooooo bad.

USD goes stronger all over the place - against the Euro, the Pound and the Canadian Dollar.

jim is certainly correct...the geometry for bounce is in place.... weighed against the tendency of trend days.... hmmmm.... trader could cover shorts and call it a good day....
