I'll start the topic for this week with this:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-04-12/eight-wtf-divergences

I'm expecting some great action, and always on the lookout for the 'top' to be in place. Here, early summer in the 1600's, year end at 2000, who knows. But I suspect it will be one of them. Maybe not. I'll just be reading the clues and finding the setups. That's what I do best, I think...

I'm all about scratches in my 'Trading Plan'. Sometimes that approach really surprises people. I'm not saying this example here is totally literal, but if I could scratch eight trades, get one winner, and one stop out, I'd trade it. One out of ten winners, 10% winners. I'm 'the scratch guy'.

But, roofer, I thought most of your trades were winners, I wouldn't think you'd do many scratches.

48.50 draws the bounce. Now we see if they can do anything with it. How many times, from how far back, did I say all I want is 48-50? I got it. I won't even ask for it to 'fail' from here. I want it, but I can't ask for that. I don't mean fail into the close, I mean over the next few days. It needs to bounce big here, it 'should' bounce big here, and I hope it does. But I think things have changed, and I'm ready for that.

Now, if I could have everything I want, I'd like this to run up to lower 60's to 70's. But, it may just fail outright. All those bombs in Boston now, being called a 'terrorist attack', well, the market can easily go down. This gold thing is an indicator, to me, that something is up (I have one possible theory I'll post in a minute). But, I know what I want. Give me that...

I don't really follow this guy much any more, but if you look at scenario #2 and the part about dropping prices so COMEX can go default and pay cash at the current price, well, I do wonder. I think the odds are slim, but it is a reasonable theory. Just thought I'd mention it.

Rolled again, 46.50. They keep hammering it on every bounce. This area may not hold. I'm fine with that. I liked the bounce idea so that could be played. A balanced trend is nice to trade and tends to last longer. But, if this just gives way and crashes, how will those puts look then? I'm fine with that. Like I said earlier, if this gives way, watch out.

I need to do some work, but if this is the start of something, I'm seeing some things in the 1300's. Everyone is calling for 10%, so I know 10% is very unlikely. 10% is around 1434.

This low at 42.50 here is my most key line essentially to the tick. The key .447 is right in here. There's a super-key proven line from way back that this is a backtest of. Lots right here. So, it pushes through the 48-50 area and hits this next 'sub-level', I mean, this is it, folks. If they don't come in here, they simply don't want it. They turned the machines off.
