I'll start the topic for this week with this:

I'm expecting some great action, and always on the lookout for the 'top' to be in place. Here, early summer in the 1600's, year end at 2000, who knows. But I suspect it will be one of them. Maybe not. I'll just be reading the clues and finding the setups. That's what I do best, I think...

Okay, they do come in, but time is running out for the RTH, so unless they do a big burst into the close or in the after-cash, this will only get back to the recent high. Hopefully we'll see a blast up in the after-cash, and some follow through in the reopen.

Two ticks from the recent high, and they just crush it into the cash close. Nice. They can't get this thing off the floor. But likely that was just a shakeout, and now they'll run it up some more. Let's see.

Notice how the drop here, for now, stopped right on the 1-min TL, touch number four.

I made a new post in the economics section. This is what I was saying I think it was five years ago, or maybe even further back. Nice to hear it now, at least.

And they goose it up right off the TL.

All the above being said, I'm not saying that readers in here shouldn't post in advance trades. In fact, I think that would be great, and it is sorely lacking in here. We wind up, like most other forums, loaded with wonderful after-the-fact posts. I'm not saying they aren't great from an educational standpoint, but in advance stuff is also needed to balance things. I'm just saying that because of my unique role in here, and being, technically, a 'vendor' (that's too funny), I need to refrain from doing in advance posts where I make it clear how I would view the area. My 'solution' is to post levels to watch, but not make it clear all the time if they are for trading against, management, clues, etc.
rat and Marcin are contributing quite nicely as far as doing in advance posts, so hats off to them. I would like it if you guys could say what you plan to do with the areas, and then follow up with entry, stop placement, and management. I'd rather see less setups and more complete follow through, so readers can learn more about the entire process, and not just one aspect, setups. In my 'Trading Plan' the setup is about 10%-20% only, which is as it should be, according to KT methodology tenets. So, that is a request I have of you guys, if you can. I think it would just make this so much better of a forum.
Thanks, Jim. My posts are after-the-fact. I feel that I am probably due for a reread of the KaneTrading books and materials. The posts have been tremendous.

i did not know that the 398 pivot in AAPL WAS ''well known'' in fact on the day of high as the 886 algo triggered and i showed traders elsewhere how the setup was the same as fcx,f,hpq and others and that my key downside was 398, the thought that AAPL would fall that far was so outrageous that the moderator of the forum i posted it at told me i could no longer participate.....

Thanks Jim. I will try to do my best, but to be honest, I feel I'm struggling with trade management much more than with finding good set-ups. Anyway this is worth trying, especially to receive some comments from others.

I can't even predict the past, let alone the future....and when i think I see a setup I tend to be early....

From Carl Futia:
"...near term support is 390"
He first posted that Mar 5.
And Scott Carney:
Harmonic Trading @harmonictrader 4 Mar
AAPL harmonic support 391-408 http://www.harmonicanalyzer.com/share/aapl-3449-1186.png … (from JAN25th) ...Buy without hesitation when it gets there
Then there are all the others who have jumped on that bandwagon. I don't want to lump the above two into the group of sheep I mentioned in my post since they are so well-respected, and Scott's a buddy of mine from way back. But yes, that level has been talked about for ages all over the place. Maybe not 398 to the dollar, but that level/area.
