I'll start the topic for this week with this:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-04-12/eight-wtf-divergences

I'm expecting some great action, and always on the lookout for the 'top' to be in place. Here, early summer in the 1600's, year end at 2000, who knows. But I suspect it will be one of them. Maybe not. I'll just be reading the clues and finding the setups. That's what I do best, I think...

Of course you had it back in Sept and hit it to the dollar...

AAPL harmonic support 391-408 http://www.harmonicanalyzer.com/share/aapl-3449-1186.png … (from JAN25th) ...Buy without hesitation when it gets there

Then there are all the others who have jumped on that bandwagon. I don't want to lump the above two into the group of sheep I mentioned in my post since they are so well-respected, and Scott's a buddy of mine from way back. But yes, that level has been talked about for ages all over the place. Maybe not 398 to the dollar, but that level/area.

i did not know that the 398 pivot in AAPL WAS ''well known'' in fact on the day of high as the 886 algo triggered and i showed traders elsewhere how the setup was the same as fcx,f,hpq and others and that my key downside was 398, the thought that AAPL would fall that far was so outrageous that the moderator of the forum i posted it at told me i could no longer participate.....

I have the same problem, but accepted it. I wait till the price touches the area and produces entry trigger. That's why I have much more potential set-ups that are never touched or triggered, then the ones I open. I thought it's a part of the business...

I was just thinking, roofer, too bad you didn't post that one in here back in Sept. At least we wouldn't have asked you to leave.

It is for me and my approach. That's why I say lines are free. I can work up lots of potential areas and that's fine. Many are never approached, and many don't trigger and just sail through. That is a part of how I approach things, and it matters not to me how many don't get me in to a play.

Now here's an incredible factoid. roofer never ceases to amaze me. Sometimes I feel like a total amateur when I see what he can do. Everyone should look at that .886 algo hit to the penny on Sept 21, 2012. If he hit it at that 704.95, put a stop say five cents over the high for a fifteen cent risk, and got his 398 today, that's a reward/risk of well over 2000:1!!! (Entry, stop, and calculations are approximate for educational purposes only, I don't know where roofer actually got in or where he placed his stop, or if he got out today at 398 exactly, or what...) And I was blown away with those 30:1 and 50:1's, trying for my measly 2:1 and 3:1's. roofer knocked the cover off the ball on this one, and out of the galaxy!

in advance... i showed this before.... perhaps it is well known and i just don't know it....but just as the markets are waking up to the fact thatprinting endless money out of thin air does not IMMEDIATELY TRANSLATE into gold going to the moon if the fed hold a gun to the bankers heads and says don't lend it and don't speculate in any market with it EXCEPT STOCKS....SO TOO THE TECHNICALS OF THIS CHART say another new high in bonds....not what most expect...
