BTW, for those newer to trading, I essentially never hold over a major announcement, and the Fed meeting is #1 on that list (non-farm payrolls i.e. 'the jobs report' is #2).

Did you make that up, or is that from somewhere?

I'm not going to post much on where this may he headed on the announcement. I will let it shake itself out, then make some assessments. My gut sense is 'up'. I think they would really want to sweep out all those highs at 91.25 and 91.50. I'd love to see up to get them, then down hard, but that's just a dream. Most likely ChairSatan Old Yeller will be extra dovish after her meeting with O'Bummer, and basically say all rate hikes are now off the table for 2016, and up we go. It's set up perfectly for that. That will crush the USD and get crude moving even higher, which is just what they want. But wouldn't it be great if they ran it down to Marcin's or my lower area, then did their nonsense? If they did that I suspect they might move up a bit first, then down, so the first notable move, which is almost always 'wrong' in my experience, is down. But, I'm just playing the scenario game here, seeing what some frameworks/layouts look like. Once it moves then I'll be looking at short-term setups. Be careful in here!

I knew it was from somewhere, I just wasn't thinking... Ah, Lemmy. "But that's the way I like it baby, I don't wanna live forever..."

And here's the new topic. Everyone please go there and vote that up (if you think it is good). Also, I added a post to the above one thread, so make sure even if you voted before you go and vote up that one. I know there are more people reading this than four, so please, everyone, help me out. I need to make sure that they don't seem vulnerable to down voting and we get the positive vibes going. Thanks.
