I think you can do that, as what he does is libeling you for no reason.

So, if you were in my shoes, which option would you pick:
Just leave it there for all readers to read, forever
Ask Guy to remove it, in which case he would likely want to remove both the related threads also
Get my attorney on it with a personal suit against the poster. He really likes this kind of stuff. I don't.
Ask Guy what he thinks?
Something else?
Understand that if this gets to be too much, Guy might just close my forums down. I can't let things slide that have crossed the line because I am concerned about that, but Guy and I have always had a great relationship, and I'd like to keep it that way.

But I realize that he is doing a harm to you in completely unjustified way, so a lawsuit is something I would consider. Just my opinion right now.

I asked Guy his opinion. My attorney said any time I want to put him on the clock he will read the post and start what he thinks is appropriate. As I said to Guy in my message, my intention is not to in any way involve the forum, only the poster personally. I would prefer not to do this. Like I also said to Guy, highly spirited debate, like what we have been having, is one thing, libel is another. I am awaiting Guy's reply. I hope he has an easy solution.
