The Trading Zoo

I've started this topic because I am under the impression that ahk works with The Trading Zoo and he is active on this forum and may be able to provide information and comments about this service.

I believe that it will be constructive to have a topic/thread dedicated to The Trading Zoo so that the merits of this service can be discussed in isolation to the other topics which have collectively dealt with several trading services in the same topic including The Trading Zoo.

Until I know who you are I'm not going to negotiate with you. I could be negotiating with a high school kid in Indonesia for all I know.

Everything to you looks like a setup (no pun intented). You insult me day trading. You know when I joined the Zoo and where I live. Do I sound like a high school kid in Indonesia? You have alienated others from the Zoo who could have helped your cause, but you chose instead to humiliate and talk down to them.

I am doing this for the benefit of both parties so they can settle their differences. The deal has to be right for both of you. I'm just an agent, not a principal.

The ball is in your court.
Claude, the Terms and Conditions of this web site are there for a reason, not for amusement. If you bothered to read them you would know why you're locked out. You're wasting everyone's time. It is obvious that this is not your first time in this forum and that you've previously been banned under another name.

If you're making claims about a system and you're not going to answer questions about those claims and substantiate them then we're not interested in hearing from you. Any high school kid from Indonesia can come on here and tell us that they use the Zoo's system to make money. It carries zero credibility.
Once again the Zoo members live up to their reputation. I find it almost impossible to beleive that anyone in the ZOO would wonder why they look so bad here. I guess it must boil down to "there's no such thing as bad publicity" and if they even just scam one more person because of some insane postings here then I guess it is financially worth it to them...a very sad situation...

I like the "High school kid from Indonesia" Daytrading. My wife agrees that it was the show "Dallas". My guess was going to be a college kid on summer vacation from the Tri-state area ( NY, NJ ,CT) but it could just as easily be Indonesia...Perhaps another "nephew" of T-rex or Daywalker or Aaron or Barry or Max or TraderMary or Redeagleclaw ( I checked, he and Mp signed up the same day)...too many ZOO salesman to mention

I guess we all knew that the statements would never come through anyway.

I want to make a comment here about claude who I have the pleasure of knowing for a long while, because the things said about him here trouble me and I have knowledge about the issue.

But I fear getting ridiculed and later accused of being here before under a different name or a shill or any of the other reasons posters get seem to get abused and then locked out.

There seems to be certain rules here and I don't understand how they are applied. I'm not even sure this is a serious place. I need assurance and some guidance. Thank you.

I'm going to lock this topic for a while because it appears to be wasting everybody's time and is not benefiting the trading community. This topic is unlocked again and you can reply to it.

To summarize what has been discovered:
  1. No credible proof that the the Trading Zoo system works has ever been produced.
  2. Numerous lies and false statements have been made by Trading Zoo members and the owner in an attempt to push the system.
  3. Numerous shills have appeared on behalf of the Trading Zoo to pump the system.
  4. Trading statements have been promised and never delivered.
I don't believe that there's anything further to say about this system.

If you have a comment that you want posted in this topic then send me an email with your comment and I'll post it here on your behalf.

By the way, this is a free world we live in. If you don't like the way that this forum is run then feel free to use another forum. One of our objectives on this forum is to protect new traders from unscrupulous vendors and help them access trading services. That's what this part of the forum is for.

Here is a link to the Trading Zoo on Elite Trader if you wish to continue this discussion:
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62221
(The imposter using the nickname guy_ellis on that thread is not me. The only handle that I use on Elite Trader is guy2. Anyone else claiming to be me is not.)

Interestingly, on page 5 of that thread there's a comment by Vanquish. He was also promised statements from the Trading Zoo and has been waiting since January 2007 for them. We don't seem to be alone in this forum with that problem.
So now we have members of the ZOO busted on two different forums. WOW! Talk about a tarnished reputation. Imagine what a desperate, low-life vendor you'd have to be to go around impersonating the Moderator/owner of this forum.

Anyone who buys into these clowns at this point in time certainly deserves to be scammed by them. If this act of desperation doesn't show you what the Zoo and it's members are all about then you have some serious issues.

The imposters posts has been remove from the elite forum. Now who was it who mentioned about "strength in numbers" ??? Oh yeah, I beleive it was someone from the Zoo. Nice to see that two forums can co-exist and do "Right" by each other. No jealousy, no egos in the way. Very classy!!!

If only certain vendors could adopt such an attitude ....

These trading zoo people are complete scumbags.
I was interested in the 'Tradingzoo', after reading this whole post. So I wanted to know more about them, and I went to their website. After seeing a 'testimonial' from someone who lived in the same city as I do, I emailed them, asking if I could contact this person as a reference and asked for other references.

After a few days of not hearing from them, I called the number on the website. A guy named 'MP', who I think runs the show answered the telephone, and when I indicated that I would like to contact this guy; his answer was 'why would you want to do that?'...he further went on to say that he saw my email, but didn't think I was being serious.
Give me a break!!! If I am getting ready to spend $$$thousands on a trading method, I want credible references!!!...and why not 'would I want to do that'!

I still have not been fowarded any references, that answered my question about them.

I had a trial period with TradingZoo. I don't know what all the fuss is about - the guy has a strategy, not a programable system. It's essentially based on candlestick patterns and he uses a few rules like 1-2 trades per swing. It's not a big deal and anyone who takes a free trial and knows a little bit about trading can deduce what the method is.
I didn't like the fact that they trade pre-market - several days when I logged in they were already finished for the day!
Broker statements wouldn't mean anything - everyone is going to get a different fill with this type of strategy.
I probably could have reproduced his "manual" at the end of the trial period. 'tis not worth $7,000 or whatever he's charging, that's for sure. You can buy four or five good books and learn the same thing.
For what it's worth, I was an original Trading Zoo student. Sam Baum's system was dangerous, all counter-trend with short profit targets with larger invisible stops.

A few of us students started out own Skype room to ignore the teacher's setups but rather take in his priceless information regarding the e-mini, which alone was worth the $6,000 as I gained a true understanding of how to read and trade ANY liquid market. I think one of the traders using our new modified trend setups with trailing stops actually sent someone his trading statements to someone on another forum years ago which shut the naysayer up quick.

Anyways, Trading Zoo is back but run by some of the traders who have been successful for over the past 6 years using our modified system.
I want to personally promote this because of all the original TradingZoo did for me.
