... and the only reason for a quick drop from here to the lower ML could in my opinion be a failed 5th wave at SPX and ES. Because on many other indexes the recent rise looks like already completed 5th wave:

I'm not so sure. I think roofer is gone for good... Eric is probably just too busy at work right now.

For now, this 1.272 on the ES is really a battle for it... Am I going to not see it coming, like yesterday, as it dumps off the very first area???

And TNA is right at a key line and multiple pattern convergence area right here. But I just can't see it, I can't see this going down to the $SPX and TNA areas, it would just be too technically pretty. No, it wants to go up and trash that scenario. It doesn't want me to see such technical beauty. Watch and see...

Well, I have a theory on this. roofer has left many times, and each time he announces he is leaving. At some point he returns. That's the pattern. So, if he were going to truly leave and never come back, there would be a different pattern, since it is a different scenario. Hence, if he were to leave permanently, the pattern likely would be no announcement. That could be the pattern for a permanent leave.

I have no idea on the why's, just as I don't have any idea on why a given market moves when it does. I just look for patterns. The pattern is different here, so I'd expect the odds favor a different outcome. I have another difference I know of, too, but I'll skip posting on it. roofer must be getting a kick out of all this speculation/conjecture on him, given he is reading the forum every day still. So is Eric...

Maybe they planned this together, and have a $1 bet, like in the movie 'Trading Places', about what kind of nutty conjecture the forum will generate about their absence...
