I'm wondering about possible scenarios for a full playout of this test and retest at SPX showed here on Friday:

... and the only reason for a quick drop from here to the lower ML could in my opinion be a failed 5th wave at SPX and ES. Because on many other indexes the recent rise looks like already completed 5th wave:

Amazing how 'risk on' is struggling at these levels. CL, GC, ES, 6E, all having trouble going to the next level. I think they all will, but they are all just squatting in here, 'basing'.

Look at how it struggles, though...

I think I can safely make the premise 'risk on' is about to happen.

Very curious. As soon as I post that, there is a little mini dump in the ES. This just isn't getting a strong bid at all. This isn't to say they won't be rising all the 'risk on' assets up, it's just that it is so grinding, not the usual frenzied buy action you sometimes see. It's just very odd. In 'the old days' I'd worry it could get slammed. But this isn't 'the old days' anymore, so get ready for 'up'...

What a struggle for the ES in here. CL about to set a new high for the move off its latest setup/ABCD from about an hour ago. But the ES struggles so...

I'm getting a funny feeling in here. Watching that CL very closely. This is so weak it's getting scary. Watching for a possible dump to start.

They have to come in here soon... I'd like to say I think they will, as they see what will happen if they don't. But, so far, nothing.

Euro in a 20+ pip range for about 2.5 hours now. When that coil unwinds...

How odd. It hits a new high by 1 tick, then backs off. Then another new high by 1 tick, then backs off. Not very impulsive. And CL is just grinding up, but looking ready to dump any second. The Euro is still coiling. GC looks ready to 'break out' to the upside. Very, very curious action.
