I decided to split off my postings of economic links from Jim's Thoughts, so that I can get that topic back to what it was intended to be, a place for me to post trading ideas and thoughts I had that I felt could be of interest to the readers.

This topic is where I will post links to various economic articles, for those that find them interesting. If you want to read (or post) articles about the unfolding debaucle, this is the place to look. If you are a short-term daytrader or swing trader and have zero interest in the economy, you can now just read Jim's Thoughts and not have to wade through this type of dicussion.

At best I think this material only has a direct effect on longer-term plays, the bigger swings that make up the major legs of the bull and bear markets. I follow this stuff for that reason, and because I want to have a handle on things, if that is even possible in this era of lies and deception, so that I can make decisions on life issues.

For example, as I posted in the commentary on the website and discussed with many people well in advance, this was something that wasn't hard to see coming. I saw many people who told me as late as Oct 2007 that 'this thing is about to 'break out' to the upside, and that Dow 20,000, and then much higher, was 'just around the corner' '. The type of articles I am posting discuss the type of information that helped me form the viewpoints I had back then.

If this is far from over, as I suspect, we are in a similar postion now as back then. With the rally that is unfolding right now the talk is the bull is back, the bottom is in, and we are set. I'm not so sure. So, I try to weigh up all the factors and not get too sucked in by the hype. To that end, I will post things here I find interesting.

Okay, and here's how QE3 may be implemented very, very soon.

I think this sounds like a very reasonable battle plan. For those who think the bailouts are even remotely close to over, or that the destruction (stealing) of your life savings has or will slow, maybe you should think again.

I recall an old joke: How can you tell if a politician is lying? See if his lips are moving. Let's use that same framework and redo that old saw. How can you tell if they are still working on stealing your life savings? Your bank account isn't zero yet. Or: How can you tell they aren't done devaluing the dollar? It's not at zero yet. I'm not cynical, I'm just realistic.

They will push this game until it ends, and the path from here to there is beyond comprehension, one that will not seem possible to those who read it in the history books many generations from now (if the war that all this is leading to leaves a world that still has history books...).

This stuff is just chilling. Especially since the quotes are from people who must lie, cover things up, and talk ultra-positive, for the most part. Why the Euro isn't trading at around .60, instead of 1.40, I simply can't fathom. I guess it's because 'they' are propping it up, China is propping it up big-time, the U.S. is big-time pushing the dollar down, and they all know if the Euro were 'fairly valued' the whole system would have collapsed long ago on the way to fair value. So to keep the game going they all just praise the Emperor's beautiful clothes, and keep playing until the music stops, and the meltdown and dissolution of the Euro Zone and Euro is complete, along with the ruination of the world as we know it...

Many people tell me I'm way too pessimistic, and that most of what I have been saying won't happen. To each their own, but I think what I am saying will prove to be correct. I bet most people in various parts of Europe were very optimistic as Hitler was amassing on the border. Only after it was all said and done were they forced to acknowledge the reality. So, too, will it be with us and out current situation. Years and years ago I said Greenspan would be responsible for more human suffering than Hitler. Other than adding that I now see the picture is so much bigger than just the FED and Greenspan, I stand by that.

I forgot, I do have another hero to go with Ron Paul and David Stockman, and that's Nigel Farage. Here's his latest:
