Thanks for opening this Forum to your students and giving us an opportunity to show our charts and share our ideas.

Here is a chart of todays ABCD's in the russell. I will post a context chart later. Today was one of those days where the market changes direction on Jim's unique Fib numbers, Had you been trading with standard fib numbers you may not have noticed these PTA's. Is it me or is .564 becomming more and more prevalent?

This goes right to that .685 area, and coils for two days. This is getting ready for something big, it seems. They will make it as difficult as possible for the greatest number of people to do anything with this, you can bet on that. Still seems funny how the SOX followed 'the box' and gave it all back, yet nothing else did. Notice, too, all the ABCD ups that the various commodities have, at the same time as the market indices. This is something I rarely see. Something very 'active' is going to happen soon, I think.

This all just seems very, very unusual to me. A huge buying frenzy in a 'mega-bull' market, and just zero follow through, or even trading activity, for two straight days. It's like the market is closed. This just strikes me as so almost bizarre.

And it is really even more bizarre than that. Iran grabs some sailors in Iraqui water, right as the UN is voting on sanctions, after Iran said you sanction us and the sun will catch on fire. Are they hostages? No one knows yet. And it's a national holiday in Iran, so they can't get much information now, with everyone off. Maybe it's a 'mistake', but will they hold them until after the vote to see if they are hostages or just a 'mistake'? And I recently heard a radio show where this 'top general' said Bush has a plan to attack Iran late March or early April. Point? Usually they 'lighten up' on Fridays, especially if there is geopolitical risk out there. Yet the market had zero reaction to this event. I find that beyond bizarre.

Call it the quiet before the storm.
