Hi Jim,
Thanks for opening this Forum to your students and giving us an opportunity to show our charts and share our ideas.
Here is a chart of todays ABCD's in the russell. I will post a context chart later. Today was one of those days where the market changes direction on Jim's unique Fib numbers, Had you been trading with standard fib numbers you may not have noticed these PTA's. Is it me or is .564 becomming more and more prevalent?

Thanks M. I think that I you are right. I would do well to keep that in mind. I thought that at I would take a shot at the upper // and the division line. I will stick to trading the ABCD"'s

The green lines in the first chart show a 4-Point Continuation Pattern, playing right off the lines. The second chart shows a flat or slightly expanding ABCD as a 'wave 2'. The cool thing was how it came back down in an ABCD to 'test' the top of the pattern, before exploding up for another strong leg. A trendline across the opening top and the A point of this smaller ABCD was what surely got everyone to pile on, but we were already given many potential opportunities via the methodology to be in way before this. And do you see the pattern between the two ABCD's? How about before the last push up? It seems like it never ends...

Yes Jim, it seems at times that the Kane Methodology was made for trading the Russell. Day after day, of high quality setups. I am reading a book called "Inside the House of Money" that says " It is in the course of the development and testing of of market hypotheses where the art or genius lies." I would have to say that your genius is proven day after day in the Russell!

Well, thanks, I appreciate that. If you think the Russell is something, you should dig into the commodities. And the list of stocks that like the methodology equally well is extensive, in my opinion.
