Hi Jim,

Thanks for opening this Forum to your students and giving us an opportunity to show our charts and share our ideas.

Here is a chart of todays ABCD's in the russell. I will post a context chart later. Today was one of those days where the market changes direction on Jim's unique Fib numbers, Had you been trading with standard fib numbers you may not have noticed these PTA's. Is it me or is .564 becomming more and more prevalent?

Just watch this pseudo-cup and handle here on the 13-min while you are teeing up...

Notice the NQ, especially relative to the INDU.

Well, the Russell is finally at that big, key daily upper //, and it sure looks strong. I guess that's good since no one is prepared for down, but looking at the other indices, it will take a bit before I would bet against this on anything but the lowest timeframes. I'm having a hard time conceiving anything but up, up, and more up, until some catastrophic news hits. The bullishness is so thick you could cut it with a knife. When a market keeps rising on bad news, that tells me something.

Duane,

Do the key daily downsloping set for the Russell mini, the one we showed before, from the beginning of Jan to the end of Feb. Show this on the 60-min. Also do an offset line for the 3/14 low.

CSCO was a lay up all the way. Once it moved off the ABCD 'retest' the 233-tick, which was also what I watched this on, was just right. Look at those opportunities. If you look on the 60-min you can see a 'nested' variation (i.e. two overlapping) of the KT rocking chair setup.

Actually the second set is not too bad, but I was thinking just an offset line on the first set, to compensate for how far short that low on the 14th was from that lower //. Geo shows a lot of nice offsets on his charts. I thought I might not be clear enough on that when I said it. I'd watch the latter set for sure, based on that 3/29 low at the ML, but I also want to watch the first set, based on that 3/12 high at the ML. Hence, I would put an offset on the first set, and then watch both. This is surely in a critical area. Nice chart work.
