I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.
I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.
Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

Well, I am caught up similarly like Roofer right now. Just a big project I need to deal with. I wish I had the time....but it'll soon be over.
Duane, did you do the latest Ensign upgrade? Did you check with Guy to make sure you are not over the posting limit?

I have a slew of lines, Fibs, the exp ABCD, the daily pivot (overlapping a .382, once again) all coming in at the 39ish area on the Russell mini, and it's trading right down there now in the Sunday evening trading. Anything can happen between now and the open, but this may, as one of many scenarios I'm watching, gap open near that area. Do some work on this, as it may be quite an interesting start to the week coming up. Keep in mind the roofer's gap posts, too.

There is something very cool about Russell mini 820. See if you can figure out what I mean. I'll give you a hint: it has to do with just one Fib number and one swing point, not any ML's. This is on the Sept basis contract. Keep in mind that the previous swing points aren't necessarily that liquid back then, but it is still cool, as I see this type of thing in pretty much all issues, including stocks, where there isn't rollover.
P.S. Some action, huh?

Jim, is it the 1.27 from the low on 5/24 up to the high on 6/1 which would create a double bottom with the low on 5/16?

Yep. Interesting that a major swing point 1.272 hits within a tick of a previous major swing-low, viewed best on say a 60-min chart.

Well, in my humble opinion, that was one of the best days I have seen in the Russell mini, from the standpoint of the methodology. Wow. Wow. And notice rates broke out over the last line on that monthly/quarterly chart.

I'm going to make a guess here. Up on the Beige book release shortly. They want to buy. I have a triple line convergence here that it has only slightly reacted to and it is right back there, a big report is coming out to give the excuse, and it that time of day when they frequently take it out of mid-day chop. We'll see. It would be very curious to me if the area holds.

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
