I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.

I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.

Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

Well, in England people tend to use an expression when they consider someone real whack:" I think he should be shot". It may not be meant literally, but it has it's effect, especially for people who are not used to such "extreme" expressions. What comes to my mind is "They should all be shot", but what I really want to say is that this world would be much better off without any of those greedy, lying, cheating, stealing bastards. And here we have governments who are actively trying so hard to support them which of course means that the governments themselves or just as much in deep ****....or worse.
This thing just needs to crash and burn and if all the governments are taken down alongside so be it. Good f'ing riddance.

Is this today's representation of the low end of the human chain, as was the Catholic church during it's blood-stained history or the insanity of egos such as Hitler or Stalin during their prime? Well, I think so.
In reality it also shows how little we have actually advanced as a human race.
Below three layers of dog****....

I see this article is producing the same type of response in others that I had to it, which is why I posted it.

I know, I need to get it squared away so I can post charts, and I will, soon, but for now... Someone should post a chart of the VIX with a downsloping 'adjusted' set on there. If your data is the same as mine, this is an interesting spot to watch, and an interesting spot if it blows this out. Hopefully what I am looking at will be obvious. Do this on a 60-min chart, and please create a topic for it, don't post it in here.

Okay, nickel bet anyone? I say we go up big tomorrow, or at least up big and then see if any more sellers come in. I'm getting that 800+ point day, close on the high tick feeling... One clue: like last time, Asia and Australia are acting 'sold out' for now and are starting to move strongly off the lows, and so are our futures (I've already gotten a nice trigger in the ES for the short-term), same as last time. I don't even have to get into the 'oversold' indicators for our market. A nice 'test' of this recent ABCD from below sure would be great. No matter what it does, this action is incredible, but I am going to be quite surprised if they can just keep selling this without a bounce in here.

Well, it was one heck of an overnight run, but the stop out came well before the open, and it's been nothing but weak since then... I am amazed at how weak it is, and how few buyers have stepped up this time. That really tells me something...

Well, maybe I spoke too soon. After setting a nominal new low and doing some 'testing' they finally decided it's safe to go nuts on it. We finish up about 500, up about 600 from the low. I guess that's close enough to what I was saying I thought would happen. Sure, it would have been more cool if the futures just stayed up and we did this, as far as what I said, but I'll take it. And we did get the 'high tick' close, give or take.

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
