I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.
I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.
Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

I'll be back to posting tomorrow. I'll be changing a few things, trying to get focused on things that will help the people who are trying to learn the KT methodology. I'm pretty sure I will be locking the economic section down, to save time and divert what little energy I have for posting to very short-term setups. I plan to get back to the ex post facto times, but only list just the times, no details. That will be something I should be able to do most days, and will still focus people to the spots where I saw something interesting, and then you can all do the work and see what you find. I'm also going to try to post on as many days as I can, for now, in a daily ES commentary, which I will start the night before, each and every day. If I forget, then feel free to start one.
Although I could consolidate the ES posts to a weekly group, or larger, I still think it is best to do it for each day so that when I work with a student, or get a question on a certain day, we can refer right to that day without a lot of going through pages and pages of posts to find the day of interest. It comes up reasonably often when working with a student or in questions I get what I may have said or posted at a given time on a given day, and this is the best way for me to have easy access to that material. So, let's see how this goes, and I'll just look at my posts as something I'm doing for myself, so when I get very little participation, I won't be bothered by it. I'll just think of it as part of my own journal that I'd do whether or not anyone participates. I know it's a ruse, but let's see how long I can do it without complaining that I am wasting my time... :-)

Jim, appreciate your efforts.
I am not participating, but I do read the forum posts and review your books and full year commentary from time to time...like now.
Your methodology is awesome. Thanks for teaching.

One thing I will say, that NDX sure does look like a W4 and W5, complete with 1.272 ext ret. Perfect topping formation just a tad shy of roofer's pile of setups.

Make sure you look, or freeze it, at 1:08 and see what they are showing there, or you'll miss part of the point.

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
