I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.

I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.

Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

Take a look at the Aussie dollar and that weekly 4-Point CP at a key line and right under all that 'congestion' from '04-'06, as they go into their meeting with no rate cut expected. A cut would signify more weakness than expected, and may let the 4-Point play out. This will be a curious one to watch either way.

Hmmm, so they did surprise everyone with a cut, the AUD spiked down a little, and then headed up. Very interesting. I guess when the die is already cast, it doesn't matter, just like when our bull market keeps going up on bad news. I'll still be watching this as it develops over the next few days.

It's just amazing how many pundits are adamantly saying the low is in, this is a bull, no need to test the lows, and so on. I just get tired of seeing everyone say the same thing. Even if I was completely bullish, I'd still be tired of hearing the same thing over and over. This last guy mentions how he bought the very low. I wonder if he was on the 'tip list' that I truly believe existed for that 666 low. Hey, maybe these guys are all correct, and I see no point to fighting this monster trend, but it will be so odd if the pundits get it so exactly right, Cramer is exactly right, all the 'dumb money' hits it dead on. I just can't get over that this is going to be such an incredible exception. There just seems to be nothing but good news out there, even bad news is starting to sound good. We'll see.

Now, I'm not saying for one second that I think they don't plan to manipulate and engineer this thing higher, perhaps a lot higher (I'm also not saying that I don't think at some point they may 'let it go', or that that point might not be close), but look at this post here. It was my exact thoughts even before the 'annoucement', since this was so obvious it was ridiculous. Exactly what I said was going to happen in my various writings and commentary. Read the 4/9/09 10:28 post by Atilla about WFC.

That's because things are all better now. Recession over, credit crunch over, banks making wild, record profits, housing has bottomed and is turning up strongly, strong new bull market, things are good again. Just be thankful our faithful servants came up with such good plans to turn this around. They sure averted disaster with their well thought out plans.

Everyone see that big 60-min upper // and now spike line at this high? If you see an outstanding sliding // above the ML, you have the right set. I'm not saying this will contain the move, only that it is worthy of note. If the move did end here, it sure would be at a cool spike line and upper //, right at M's 850 area. But it would have to show me something before I'd stay on these train tracks with this runaway train coming.

Not to mention my super-key 883-ish area with the best line I have sitting right overhead. But I rather suspect this may be headed for 1,100 or even the 1,200 area. The only question I have is will we have anything but small reactions off the areas I have between here and there. There are a lot of key areas, as posted in my last commentary. All I can do is see how it acts and set up potential trades. I am not a forecaster, I only mention the higher areas because it seems this bullish government manipulation has taken hold, and now all that sideline cash will pile in, and until we reach an extreme of sentiment the other way this may not slow down at all. The hype machine is rolling full speed, and as a trader, I plan to try to be on the right side of things, and that may well be up for a long time now. I don't want to miss that taking short shots at every area on the way up. I need to plan such that I can be short when I need to be short, and long when I need to be long, with the bias on long until proven otherwise. I hope that makes sense.

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
