I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.

I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.

Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

Look at that timestamp! Given I had to type that, and attend to my own matters at the time, just look at that.

Notice what happened in here, even if it may only be temporary. Time will tell.

Been too busy to say anything. You see everything come to their areas at the same time? Daily/60-min. You see the Russell selling hard right off the line? Question is, is that it for the upward correction, or is this a pullback and up it goes again? Russell still has two big unfilled gaps above, and it's now at a key bounce spot. Look at that EXP ABCD here. Wow, what stuff to look at. New lows coming if this sells into the close?

Everyone see that 4-Point Continuation Pattern in the Euro? You'd have to have 'context' for a new all-time high to be looking at that, though. It would require the dollar index to take out all those lows... The dollar is basically a flat ABCD in here.

HUGE, key S&P and INDU areas right here. This is a crucial point here to watch.

Hmmm, some of the best market action I have ever seen, and you'd think the posts in here would be flying, the give and take outrageous, the sheer joy of a spectacualr market shared, but no, if it wasn't for A's post, I'd have sent Guy an e-mail asking if the forum was down.

All this action came just about dead off areas that were very clear. I discussed this on Sunday with a student, and sent my friend over at HT a few e-mails saying basically watch for a sell into the close yesterday (we got it), and then following up saying I thought that might be the start of the move off the areas. And move it did. The line intersections were unreal, and it ran right to them and tanked. But, not a single post on Sunday, or even after the move started yesterday. And this whole forum started because I got so many requests for a place to post unrestricted and share ideas, and I put it together, and no one uses it...

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
