I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.

I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.

Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

My trigger was 96 half, for those that want to know.

Okay, we are in the push for a positive close mode now. Let's see if they can do it. My approach here is MOC (market on close) order, with a wide trailing stop, in case of that seeming .0001% chance they don't ramp it. I'll just check back at 16:14:59 and see how it finished :-)

Super key area right here. I'm looking to see if they check it back then blow it right out hard.

Wow, does it see this multiple line convergence area. There is a real rhythm to the swings today, and this is the rhythm area. What happens on this checkback right here will tell me a lot.

Right back to the .447 and most obvious set line, and up it goes. Little ABCD here off that is the next clue. Follow through, or roll over and down through this checkback area. How they close this is really important, IMO.

The DX is now down to 3% bulls. I don't know if this is an all time record or not, but it is amazing. The recent top came in at 93% bulls. This is a major sentiment low, IMO. If the $ is going to put in a bottom here and rally, the market has to go down, or decouple the near -1.0 correlation it has had lately.

Notice how the area I mentioned stopped this dead, then it dropped back to the checkback area mentioned, and that stopped it dead, and it has been bouncing between ever since. Big decision spot, eh?

When they close it at a key area, squeezed between the area and a checkback area, it tends to be explosive. This could be fun. Let's see if they uncoil it after cash, or if they sit here. Then the real fireworks can start later.

Wow, that line convergence just stopped that ramp up dead in its tracks. And look at that 'lateral' support for the checkback, at that VAL with all those swing lows at that level. Amazing how they wedged it into that little area. What a coil.

On another note, if you want to see just how much manipulation is going on, look at AIG, CIT, RDN, MBI, PMI, ABK, FNM, FRE, and the most worthless POS out there IMO, BKUNQ. On the latter, I can't figure out after they went BK why the stock traded above a penny, no less at the 6-10 cents it has lately. In this latest manipulation, it hit 24 cents, up 400%. This can't be 'short-covering', IMO, because I just don't think that many people are short at 6 cents a share. I may be wrong, but look at FNM, for example. It's been trading in a narrow range for about 10 months. I doubt a slew of people are short enough to cause these occasional squeezes. I think they are outright manipulations. I just wish I knew who it was, and how exactly they are making money from it.

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
