I thought I might try something different here, and see how it goes. It's quite difficult for me to post a lot to the various topics, especially with charts, since the method I use for posting charts is very cumbersome. Some charts can take me a half hour or more to put together. Since the charts I use for posting are not my 'working' charts, this work is duplicative.
I have various ideas and thoughts here and there about different things, and if I have a 'central clearing area' where I can just put out a sentence or two, pointing to something without doing the work, the members can do what assessment and analysis they want with the ideas, and post charts if they want, preferably to the respective areas they have for that topic. This way it would leave this topic more 'clean'. If you have a question or comment on what I was pointing out you could post that in here.
Let me know if you have any thoughts on this, or anything you think would be helpful/useful. Keep in mind I am not going to just tell you all my best setups in advance, especially if I plan to trade them, as that is not 'what I do' in here, or anywhere. I want to point out things that may need some work, and might go unnoticed otherwise, or are just of interest.

This is a bit of a follow up to Geo's post 'why', which I responded to in that thread. Look at the stats for in here. The posts are averaging about ten reads each. Ten! I can tell you right now that the invitations went out to a lot more than ten people. Even among the 'elite', take out Geo and I, some hard core regs like Duane, mr, T, and you have maybe five people or so following this on a regular basis. I can't even get my guys to read this, no less post. So, although I am still thankful for my crew, it's amazing how few we are...

I was thinking about this the other day. I thought there is no way that Jim had only sold book sets to 10 people or had as few subscribers at the time, because that's about as many people as I see on this forum. So where is everyone? Kind of bizarre.

Yeah, and you should have seen that knucklehead ripping Geo. He basically said straight out that no way, no how can any money be made with all that 'garbage' on the charts, and that we were just trying to sucker poor beginners into thinking so. He didn't offer any alternatives, except to say he was great and made zillions, and that he wouldn't train anyone. Then he said no one who ever found anything that worked would ever reveal it, and then he told one guy in there he would reveal his 90% accurate setup to him for free. Then they either banished him or he finally left. After a day like today I just can't imagine what goes on in the mind of someone like that...

Wherever you go you'll find idiots and good people as well (one often outweighing the other...).
As far as I remember there's also a guy in the main forum who calls himself George Soros. Whatever.......

Well, even though this was obvious to me, I feel a lot better now that it is 'out in the open'. Too bad we just can't do some work and not have to always have this kind of crap distracting us. Anyway, check out this thread:

I have a real interesting area here in the Russell I am watching. It will be interesting to see if it bounces here. If the area goes without so much as a bounce, that would tell me something.

This is a daily area. The next major area is another 10 points lower.

I think the second chart is particularly telling. I agree with the conclusion, this market is nothing more than Euro-yen carry trade on, Euro-yen carry trade off. No balance, no participation, no depth, as I discussed in my last monthly commentary, just leverage/deleverage, risk on/risk off, and that's it. Skynet is totally sentient. How long, like in the movie, until the machines decide to vaporize the useless humans?
